Property Spray Plans summarise how a grower or farmer or other agrichemical user responsibly manages agrichemical use on their property. The Plans describe how any adverse effects on people and the environment from the agrichemicals used, will be avoided or minimised.
Property Spray Plans are a legislative requirement in most regions through Regional Council Air Plans. They are also a valuable tool for EUREP-GAP and demonstrate to customers you are a responsible agrichemical user.
Spray Plan Manager can assist you in creating a Spray Plan for your property.
It is important to understand that a Property Spray Plan is not a Spray Diary.
A Spray Diary is a detailed record of your agrichemical usage, for each spray application you are generally required to record the products, rates and blocks involved. The focus is on recording what you applied to which crops and when you did it.
A Property Spray Plan is similar, but the focus is not on having an exact record of every spray application, but on identifying and mitigating the effects the agrichemical applications have on the surroundings.
Once you have registered, you will be guided through a simple step-by-step process, helping you to collate information about the property, the agrichemicals used, and the effects on the surroundings into a plan for printing or emailing.
